Is it hard for you to organize your workspace at home?
How often do you try to organize your desk or workspace at home? Does it stay organized? Over time we accumulate a lot of stuff. And unless you keep your space organized it will become a distraction and worse yet, make you feel disorganized and frustrated when you cannot find what you need which becomes a big time waster! Over the years I’ve discovered what works and what doesn’t. For me it’s periodically purging files, getting rid of stuff I no longer use, keeping current client project files separate from files that are 6 to 12 months old and having supplies in a cubby style setup next to my desk. There are so many ways to stay organized, there is no one solution. Finding what works for you is the answer.

Can you be more productive working remotely?
We are 2+ years into the pandemic and still struggling with how to work from and be productive. I’ve discovered a lot of advice on the subject. There is no single answer. Just as working in the office is dynamic, working from home is dynamic. The difference is that the dynamics are different. In place of phone distractions, or people standing around talking, or your boss placing a last minute demand on your time it’s our pet jumping on your desk, the kids yelling from the kitchen or someone is ringing the doorbell. The pandemic has forced us to adapt to a new work environment and to be successful means finding ways to maximize your productivity.
